Paul Hindle
Founder / Managing Director
Paul is our Managing Director. After spending 20 years in the plastics industry, he found his way into the lighting industry and set up Lumenata in 2006. He is a bit of a lighting nerd, loves the technical side of lighting and is very interested on how lighting affects our mental health.
He is a single parent to three grown up children and enjoys cycling, skiing, cooking and supporting his home town football team.

Wei Liu
Technical Director
Admired by clients and colleagues for his unerringly professional, friendly and astute approach to lighting design, Wei is one of the stalwarts of the Lumenata team.
Wei graduated with a BA in Engineering from the University of Salford, where his dissertation explored how people engage with the spaces they work in. He has a healthy addiction to design and architecture, and prior experience working in architectural design practices.

Tim Pink
Design Development Manager
Tim is our Design Development Manager. His primary role is to assist clients in the design and delivery of lighting solutions for their projects using the latest technology and innovative solutions. Tim works with our design team to produce conceptual ideas that are developed into a finalised and agreed solution for the client. From an initial idea to planning and delivery, Tim has the experience to bring a client's vision to life.
Tim is a veteran of the lighting industry. He has covered a number of roles with major lighting manufacturers and lighting design studios. He has vast knowledge of lighting design and the technicalities of lighting. He is a proud member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and the Society of Light & Lighting from whom he achieved his Diploma in Lighting.
Outside of work, Tim is an avid hill walker and is currently working his way through the 214 Wainwright Summits in the Lake District.

Sii Rahman
Business Development Manager
Sii has a BA in Product Design from the University of Lancashire, where she specialised in Lighting and interior architecture.
Sii’s naturally organised, personable and composed nature makes her a natural fit in his role as Senior Lighting Designer; skills she honed as a designer in the manufacturing industry. As one of the most experienced and stellar members of the team, Sii's mentorship and guidance are invaluable to colleagues, clients and buyers, and she is a bedrock of the team.

Linda Yu
Operations Director
Linda has a BA in Industry Business from the famous University of China. Her degree focused on how spaces inform the way in which people live and the impact of lighting and color on our mental wellbeing. She is good at helping clients choose distinctive lamps with oriental aesthetic. Linda has spent the past several years honing her skills in roles that have built on her degree and combined her passion for people and business. Before joining Lumenata, she worked as part of a communications team at an architecture and design firm.

Maria Rydeard
Customer Service Representative
As Sales Administrator, Maria is responsible for processing our sales enquiries across all the sectors we operate. Maria brings significant responsibility to her role at Lumenata, working closely with our managing director and liaising with customers across the UK from the initial brief to the completion of a project. She has a great appreciation of design and works with our project managers both in the planning and design of lighting concepts.
Maria has a degree in Law from The University of Salford, and at weekends she enjoys baking treats to share with the team and spending time with her family.
